Real Madrid and Brazil forward Vinicius Junior may be held accountable after celebrating his birthday, reports O Globo.
The Brazilian has been sued over a noisy party celebrating the 25th birthday of the forward, which was held at the footballer's mansion in Rio de Janeiro and lasted from July 19 to 21. It is reported that there were about 500 guests at the celebration.
According to the complaint, the festivities, which included a rap concert, fireworks, and amusement rides, disturbed the peace of an entire neighborhood and inconvenienced neighbors.
The charge of "disturbing the work or peace of others" carries a penalty of imprisonment for a term of 15 days to three months, or a monetary fine, according to Brazilian law.
A preliminary hearing in Vinicius's case is scheduled for November 6.
