The FIFA World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Currently, 21 teams have qualified.
World Cup Quotas:
Europe — 16.
Africa — 9: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana.
Asia and Australia — 8: Japan, Iran, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia.
South America — 6: Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay.
Central America and the Caribbean — 3: USA, Canada, and Mexico as hosts.
Intercontinental playoffs — 2.
Oceania — 1: New Zealand.
The qualifying tournament in Europe will conclude in November 2025. Group winners will receive direct tickets to the World Cup.
For the first time in history, 48 teams will participate in the final stage of the World Cup: 12 groups of four teams each will be formed. Compared to previous tournaments, a new stage will be added — the Round of 32.
