At the end of September, Andrei Arshavin filed a lawsuit against his ex-wives — Yulia Baranovskaya and Alisa Arshavina. The man intends to reduce the amount of child support for his children.
The footballer believes he is paying too much to the heirs from his former partners. As the athlete admitted, he is forced to give them a large part of his income.
"I pay them over 50% of my income. I am now just using my opportunity to reduce the child support. Now I also pay for my youngest child. This is all legal. There are no court decisions yet. Only the first hearings have taken place," the athlete commented on the new lawsuit against Yulia Baranovskaya.
The former Zenit player was in a relationship with the TV presenter for nine years. The couple broke up in 2012 when the woman was pregnant with their third child. Now, their eldest son Artem is 19 years old. Their middle daughter Yana is 17, while the youngest, Arseniy, is only 13 years old.
It is said that the footballer left his ex-lover for a new beauty. He then began a romance with Alisa Kazmina, who, by the way, also left her businessman husband for this new love, with whom she had two children.
In 2016, they got married, and a year later, the couple welcomed their daughter Yesenia. However, these relations of Andrei soon fell apart. According to the woman, he constantly cheated on her with different girls. Eventually, Alisa did not want to tolerate the betrayals and announced her divorce in early 2019.
If the footballer's words are to be believed, the marriage fell apart not because of betrayal, but because of money. "Everything is mundane... I would have lived with this woman, but when the deception on her part was revealed, I asked: 'Why? Why? Are you going to return the money?' Alisa chose not to say anything and not to return. And how should I act? Continue living with her?" the man confessed.
Shortly after the high-profile divorce, the athlete made another attempt to start a family. Thus, he began cohabiting with Anna Petrushina. In August 2024, his partner gave birth to another daughter. The girl was named Eva.
However, in 2025, the woman went to court to ensure that the father paid her child support for the newborn. As a result, by court decision, Arshavin is obliged to pay his partner and daughter a quarter of his income. At the same time, the couple has not separated; they continue to live together.
Some internet users believe that the former captain of the Russian national team decided to reduce child support for his children from previous relationships in this way. Because now instead of 1/6 of his income for each child, he can pay 1/8. Moreover, he wants to give even less.
The Savelovsky Court of Moscow scheduled the hearing of the footballer's case against the mother of many children, Yulia Baranovskaya, for November 14. According to media reports, the former Zenit player wants to keep child support only for his youngest son, as the eldest has already reached adulthood, and the middle one is about to become an adult.
Thus, if Arshavin wins the court, he will only allocate money from his income for the youngest son from the TV presenter in the near future. In addition, he will support the child from Alisa Kazmina.
Last year, the athlete unexpectedly admitted that he has another child who is not registered under his surname. As Andrei assured, the baby was wanted. Thus, the football star has six children.
