Barcelona's total operating income for the past season amounted to 994 million euros. Meanwhile, the net operating profit of the Catalan club is 2 million euros.

Another important achievement is success in merchandising, which brought in 170 million euros (+55% compared to the previous season) thanks to the international expansion of e-commerce, which now operates in more than 170 countries.
Barcelona is the reigning champion of Spain. Last season, the Catalans also reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, where they lost to the tournament's future finalist, Italian Inter.
