The candidate for the position of prime minister from the "United List", Andris Kulbergs, earned just over 90,000 euros last year. The declaration also lists a collection of 11 vehicles — from vintage cars to an ATV and a Ducati motorcycle.

The income of the candidate for the position of prime minister, Andris Kulbergs, slightly decreased last year.

According to the declaration of a public official, in 2025, the politician earned 90,227 euros — approximately 1.2% less than the previous year. The main part of the income came from his salary as a member of the Saeima — 78,582 euros.

Additionally, Kulbergs received 10,000 euros in dividends from the company "VK development" (which specializes in commercial and residential construction, as well as providing freight transport services), interest from bank deposits, and benefits from the State Social Insurance Agency.

However, the most attention in the declaration traditionally attracted the politician's collection of vehicles. At the end of last year, Kulbergs owned 11 vehicles, including several rare vintage cars.

Among them are a 1939 "Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS", a 1973 "Dodge Challenger", and a 1985 "Audi 90".

The politician also owns a "Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution", a "Ducati Multistrada" motorcycle, an ATV, a boat, several trailers, and a BMW i3S electric car.

Interest in the declarations of Latvian politicians has noticeably increased in recent years — especially after a series of high-profile discussions about income, property, and transparency of power.

In Kulbergs' case, not only the level of income draws attention, but also his long-standing image as a person closely associated with the automotive industry and business.

At the end of last year, the politician also owned real estate in Riga, shares in the British company "Inchcape plc", and equity stakes in "VK development". Kulbergs' cash savings amounted to just over 18,000 euros.

In addition to his political activities, he was a member of the board of the Auto Association and headed the organization "Latvijas restarts".

Kulbergs is now in the spotlight after the president tasked him with forming a new government. It is planned that the new coalition will be formed by the "United List", the National Alliance, the Union of Greens and Farmers, and "New Unity". A vote on the new government in the Saeima is expected on Thursday.
