How to Properly Boil Dumplings So They Are Tasty and Don’t Stick Together

Dumplings are a popular dish appreciated for their simplicity of preparation.

Dumplings can be found in almost every refrigerator. When there is no time to cook, they become an excellent solution.

Although dumplings can be made from scratch, many prefer to buy ready-made frozen products from the store.

At first glance, even a schoolchild can cook dumplings, but sometimes they stick together or tear during boiling.

Common Mistakes When Boiling Dumplings

Frozen dumplings lack plasticity, so placing them in cold water or boiling water is a serious mistake.

Due to the sharp temperature difference, the dough can expand, and the starch can stick together, leading to tearing and falling apart of the dumplings in the water.

It is best to place dumplings in water heated to 50 degrees. To avoid cracks during boiling, after the water boils, it is advisable to add a little cold water to the pot. This trick will help maintain an even heating temperature.
