Political scientist Jurgis Liepnieks, reacting to the events in Ukraine on the social network X, suggested a topic for discussion during the election campaign:
"This should be a topic in Latvia during the election period. How are we preparing for a situation where 500 Russian drones arrive in Latvia overnight. 700 or 1200. And the next night the same amount."
