The salary of Culture Minister Agnese Lāce ("Progressives") increased by 20.5% last year compared to 2024, when she served as the parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Culture in the first half of the year and then became minister, according to the declarations she submitted, reports LETA.
If in 2024 Lāce received a total of €96,124 in salary from the Ministry of Culture as a parliamentary secretary and from the State Chancellery as a minister, then in 2025, already in the position of minister, she earned €115,832.
The Minister of Culture declared cash savings of €20,576 in AS "Swedbank". Last year, she received €204 in interest from "Swedbank" and a benefit of €300 from the State Social Insurance Agency.
Lāce resides in an apartment in Riga, and she owns a 2021 "Audi Q4 35 E-Tron" car.
The Minister of Culture did not declare any debts exceeding 20 times the minimum monthly wage set by the Cabinet of Ministers. She also has no savings in private pension funds or life insurance.
In addition to her role as Minister of Culture, in 2025 Lāce was a member of the board of the Society Integration Foundation, chair of the Latvian National Commission for UNESCO, a member of the board of the State Cultural Capital Fund, and a board member of the "Progressives" party.
