This news was commented on by the well-known political scientist Jurgis Liepnieks: "The collapse of airBaltic will become an outstanding election campaign for both ministers from the Progressive Party (referring to former minister Brishkens and the current one - Shvinka - note by the author) and for the government as a whole." It is worth noting that today, Saeima deputy Edmunds Zivtiņš announced on social media that airBaltic's tax debt has exceeded 5 million euros.
