Deputies to Address Sexual Health 0 8

Deputies of the Saeima from two subcommittees - on health and on reducing social inequality - will gather for a joint meeting to discuss... sexual and reproductive health of the population. Experts from medical and social organizations will inform the representatives of the people about sexual education, accessibility of contraception, and reproductive health.

In turn, deputies from the subcommittee on criminal law and penal policy will visit the Children's Hospital to discuss with specialists the provision of medical and social assistance to minors suffering from addiction.

Deputies from the Saeima's Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a closed meeting. It can be assumed that the parliamentarians will be informed by experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the situation in light of the war in the Persian Gulf.

The committee on citizenship, migration, and social cohesion will discuss the initiative of the party "Latvia First" regarding the deprivation of citizenship of journalist Andrei Mamykins. Representatives from the competent authorities and the Saeima's legal bureau have been invited.
