The Saeima will open the winter session on January 9 of next year, and it will conclude on April 2.
The autumn session of the Saeima began in September and ended on December 22. The last meeting of the autumn session of parliament took place on December 18.
At the last meeting, the ruling coalition failed to secure a quorum, resulting in not all bills on the agenda being considered. This means that the parliamentarians will return to these bills during the winter session.
