The government will make a decision on Monday, December 22, to transfer 11 cars to Ukraine that were confiscated from drunk drivers and in other criminal cases, LETA reports.
The vehicles are intended for the units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the Military Administration of the Izium District.
One motorcycle is also planned to be transferred to the Ukrainian side.
The cars were manufactured between 2002 and 2012.
Their estimated market value, at which the State Material Supply Agency could sell the vehicles, is around 36,600 euros.
Since the war unleashed by Russia, Latvia has been regularly transferring cars to Ukraine that have been confiscated from drunk drivers and in other criminal proceedings.
