Next year, the number of positions necessary for the implementation of the state's core functions in ministries will be reduced by 1,147, according to information presented to the government by the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance explains that 13 positions will be eliminated in the State Chancellery, 7 in the Bureau for Prevention and Combating Corruption, 12 in the Ministry of Defense, 42 in the Ministry of Economy, and 455 positions in the Ministry of Finance.
Meanwhile, 325 positions will be eliminated in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 35 in the Ministry of Education and Science, 100 in the Ministry of Agriculture, 4 in the Ministry of Communications, 22 in the Ministry of Justice, 129 in the Ministry of Culture, and four positions in the Constitutional Court.
These calculations do not include teaching positions and positions that are being redistributed between ministries.
Such data is provided in the explanations to the state budget for the upcoming year. The government intends to take this information into account.
