On Tuesday, low passes by allied fighters at supersonic speed are scheduled in Latgale, the National Armed Forces reported to LETA.
This is a planned flight, and the National Armed Forces urge residents not to worry. Noise may be heard; however, there is no danger to the population.
It was previously reported that in past years, residents expressed concern about the noise generated by NATO aircraft.
The National Armed Forces have repeatedly emphasized that military aircraft flights in Latvian airspace occur at heights and speeds established by regulations, therefore the noise created is temporary and does not harm people or property.
