The head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense, Andris Spruds, called Latvia a drone superpower at the opening of the Drone House.
The Minister of Defense of Latvia declared the country a drone superpower after the opening of the "Drone House" — the largest training center for UAV operators in indoor facilities in the Baltic States. He announced this on his Facebook page.
"Latvia proves: we are a superpower of drones," wrote the head of the Ministry of Defense.
The "Drone House" project is managed by the Drone Force — Europe society. They plan to conduct operator training and test new drone models.
