Representatives of foreign embassies responsible for economic relations, along with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Andzhejs Vilyumsons and ministry experts, will today embark on a regional visit to the Latgale Planning Region, the MFA reported to the LETA agency.
During the visit, they will familiarize themselves with the leading enterprises in the region and the opportunities of the Latgale and Rezekne special economic zones, meet with entrepreneurs and representatives of local governments in Latgale.
In Daugavpils, a presentation of business opportunities in Latgale will take place, along with a networking event "Lunch with Entrepreneurs," during which diplomats will be able to learn about current business development trends in the region, discuss cooperation opportunities in an informal setting, and explore potential export markets.
Representatives from 16 embassies will participate in the meetings. The visit of foreign diplomats is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Latgale Planning Region, the Latgale Special Economic Zone, and the Latgale Entrepreneurship Center.
