Political scientist Jurģis Liepnieks revealed the true intentions of the authorities in an interview with TV-24: "He (Endzinsh - ed.) was simply deceived, lured into a trap. Poor man! And then Silin will say: Well, where are the results? They are not there! That was their plan, and Endzinsh fell for it."
