Tomorrow, the attention of journalists, politicians, and the public will be focused on the Saeima's Foreign Affairs Committee, where the first reading of the most resonant bill of recent times - on Latvia's withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention - will begin. The outcome is obvious - the committee will support the adoption of the document in the first reading, that is, as a basis, since the opposition holds the majority in the committee. Moreover, it is known that the denunciation of the convention is supported by the coalition partners, the 'green farmers'.

Meanwhile, the deputies of the State Administration and Local Government Committee will discuss the Central Election Commission's readiness for the parliamentary elections in a year.
