Saturday will delight the residents of Latvia with truly summer weather. Meteorologists forecast plenty of sunshine, no precipitation, and air temperatures up to +28 degrees.
After cooler days, noticeable warming is coming to Latvia.
According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Saturday will be dry, sunny, and warm across almost the entire country.
No precipitation is expected, and the wind will remain light, making the weather comfortable for both outdoor activities and trips to the sea or to the countryside.
Air temperatures in most areas will rise to +23…+28 degrees.
The highest thermometer readings are expected in the central and eastern parts of the country.
In Riga, summer-like warm weather will also settle in. During the day, it will be sunny with no rain, and the air will warm up to +26…+28 degrees.
What is important to know: this will be one of the warmest days in recent weeks. Due to the light wind, the temperature will feel even higher, especially in the sun.
Earlier, meteorologists had already warned that ultraviolet radiation would intensify over the weekend. It is recommended to limit prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and use sunscreen during midday.
The weather is favorable for outdoor recreation; however, meteorologists remind that after the sunny Saturday, thunderstorms and more unstable weather conditions are possible in some areas on Sunday.
For now, residents of the country can look forward to a rare day this June with an almost perfect combination of sunshine, warmth, and no precipitation.
