On Sunday, dry and relatively warm weather is expected in most of Latvia. Brief showers are possible only in the eastern regions of the country.
On Sunday, the weather in Latvia will remain calm: it will be dry for most of the day, with temperatures rising in some places to +23 degrees.
According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, the night sky will be mostly cloudy, although there may be clearings in some areas. In the second half of the night, brief showers are expected in certain regions.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to +10…+14 degrees. A light to moderate wind from the west and southwest will blow.
During the day, the sun will occasionally hide behind clouds, but overall the weather will remain comfortable for walks and outdoor activities. Brief precipitation is expected only in some areas in the east of the country.
The air will warm up to +18…+23 degrees, although it will traditionally be cooler by the sea — around +14…+17 degrees.
For residents of Riga, meteorologists forecast predominantly sunny and dry weather. Daytime temperatures in the capital are expected to reach +19…+21 degrees.
At the same time, specialists warn of a relatively high level of ultraviolet radiation in the middle of the day. This means that when staying in the sun for extended periods, it is important to remember skin protection — especially near water and in open areas.
After cool and unstable days, such weather may become one of the most comfortable in the past week, especially in the central part of the country.
