On Tuesday in Latvia, gusts of northern and northwestern winds will reach 13–18 meters per second, meteorologists forecast, writes LETA.
The sun will be intermittently obscured by clouds, which will be more prevalent in the eastern part of the country. Brief rain, snow, and hail are expected in some areas.
The maximum air temperature will be +6 to +9 degrees.
In Riga, a predominantly dry and sunny day is expected, with wind gusts reaching up to 18 meters per second. The air temperature will be +7 degrees.
To the west of Latvia, there is a vast anticyclone, while a cyclone persists in Russia. Atmospheric pressure at sea level ranges from 1014 hPa at the border with Russia to 1024 hPa on the southern coast of Kurzeme.
