On Thursday, April 23, the National Armed Forces and the State Fire and Rescue Service will practice mutual cooperation in information exchange during various crisis situations.
As part of the exercises, the mobile broadcasting system will also be activated — residents of the Ludza and Rezekne regions will receive a message via cell broadcast. The text of the alert will state: "The National Armed Forces and the State Fire and Rescue Service inform that this message from the mobile broadcasting system has been sent as part of the exercises. No further action is required after receiving this message."
