On Thursday, rain will occur in places in eastern Latvia, while a gusty wind will blow in Kurzeme, meteorologists forecast.
Rain is expected tonight in the western and central regions of the country. In the early hours of the night, gusts of the southern wind will still reach up to 15 meters per second. The air temperature will not drop below +1...+6 degrees.
During the day, rain is expected in Selia, as well as in many regions of Latgale and eastern Vidzeme. A weak to moderate southern and southwestern wind will blow, with gusts up to 17 meters per second in Kurzeme. The air will warm up to +5...+11 degrees.
In Riga, light rain is expected at times during the night, while during the day clouds will alternate with sunshine. The air temperature will drop to +5 degrees at night and will be around +10 degrees during the day.
