Rain is expected in many areas of Latvia on Monday; however, dry and mostly sunny weather will prevail in Latgale, forecasters predict, according to LETA.
In the western and central parts of the country, the sky will be mostly cloudy, with some areas also expecting haze.
There will be a light wind, with a moderate southern wind in Latgale, gusting up to 12 meters per second. The air temperature will range from +2 to +7 degrees, reaching up to +13 degrees in the eastern part of the country.
In Riga, cloudy weather will persist, with occasional rain. A light wind and calm conditions are expected. The air temperature will fluctuate around +5 degrees.
An atmospheric front has stretched over Latvia. The atmospheric pressure is around 1015 hPa, reaching up to 1018 hPa in Latgale at sea level.
