Citizens of Russia and Belarus do not work in the critical infrastructure of the Freeport of Riga, the Freeport of Ventspils, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone (SEZ), and Riga Airport, as found by the LETA agency.
Thus, in accordance with the national security law, there was no need to terminate employment relationships with citizens of Russia and Belarus in these companies.
According to the rules, Riga Airport does not employ citizens of Russia and Belarus in positions related to access to information or technological equipment necessary for the functioning of critical infrastructure, the airport reported.
