On Thursday, Latvia will experience mostly cloudy weather, with light snow expected in several areas throughout the day, meteorologists forecast, writes LETA.
The most precipitation will fall in Latgale and Selia. The wind will be weak, from the east and southeast.
The air temperature will rise to -7 to -12 degrees.
In Riga, the sky will be overcast, and light snow is possible. With a weak or moderate east and southeast wind, the air will warm up to -8 to -9 degrees.
A low-pressure area is located in Western, Central, and Southern Europe, which also affects the weather conditions in Latvia. The atmospheric pressure at sea level ranges from 1013 hectopascals in the South Kurzeme region to 1023 hectopascals in the Aluksne region.
