Places Named Where New Year Can Be Celebrated Together in Vecrīga 0 8

The celebrations will take place from 9:00 PM on December 31 to 2:00 AM on January 1 at the Town Hall Square, Livu Square, Castle Square, the square near the Powder Tower, on the parallel street of November 11 embankment between Polu Street and Bskapu Gate, as well as on the section of Kalku Street between Valnu Street and Aspazija Boulevard.

The atmosphere of the holiday and the dance mood in Old Riga will be provided by DJs — DJ Sets, DJ Gustavito, DJ Linda Samsonova, DJ Aspirins, DJ All-Viss, and host Valters Krauze.

At each venue, a unified audiovisual show will take place, during which the musical sets of the DJs will be synchronized with visual projections on the facades of the buildings. On the November 11 embankment, visual art can be observed on LED screens.

Throughout the evening, the hosts at each venue will address the audience, helping to create a festive mood, sharing stories about New Year celebrations in other parts of the city, and reminding about the bright moments of the past year that will define the upcoming year.
