Sadales tīkls reports: from January 1, the state will stop "providing assistance to limit the sharp rise in tariffs for individuals." Which in simple human language means: bills will increase for users with tariff plans such as Pamata/Base.

How much bills will increase:

  • For households with single-phase connections, the monthly payment for maintaining power, depending on the chosen capacity, will increase by €0.20–1.26 per month (excluding VAT) starting in January;

  • For households with three-phase connections, it will increase by €1.92–3.50 (excluding VAT).

However, these changes will not affect households that did not receive state support - connections with a capacity of 32 A and above, as well as legal entities. For these clients, the fee will remain unchanged.

The monthly payment will also remain unchanged for those clients who use the Specialais tariff plan, designed for exceptional cases (properties with absent or very low consumption, such as a summer house in the winter season or an empty apartment for sale).

Where can I check my billing status?

On sadalestikls.lv using the tariff calculator.

Who is entitled to assistance

In 2026, low-income or underprivileged individuals, large families, or families raising children with disabilities, individuals with first group disabilities, etc., in accordance with the Electricity Market Law, will still be able to receive state support for electricity payments.

  • For a large family — €25.

  • For a family (individual) caring for a child with a disability — €20;
