Sensation! Indians from the Kebab Shop in Daugavpils Speak Latvian

Just 10 days ago, Grani.lv reported that a new kebab shop had opened in Daugavpils. A couple of days ago, a well-known Daugavpils blogger brought bad news. He reported that the kebab shop was visited by a language inspection, and the Indians were fined. The kebab shop was ordered to remove the menu in Russian.

To be honest, I – the author of the article "Full House at the Kebab Shop! Indians Fled from Langa to Daugavpils" – was very upset. What if my actions harmed the business and the employees? I went there specifically after the holidays to give the phone number of my very good lawyer. - Writes a correspondent from the Grani.lv portal.

At the kebab shop, I spoke with the owner, who assured me that they had no language commission. And all the employees at the kebab shop speak Latvian. Therefore, no Langa is a threat to them. While we were conversing in English, a customer dining in the kebab shop joined the conversation. He was Latvian by nationality. He apologized, said he had been listening to our conversation attentively, and could not remain silent. He was just placing an order in Latvian and was served perfectly.
