The municipal company Rīgas nami has put up for auction 210 used chairs from the Splendid Palace cinema equipped with built-in simultaneous translation devices, according to an announcement in the official publication Latvijas Vēstnesis.
The starting price for a set of stationary chairs in the hall is 2000 euros, with an auction step of 100 euros.
The chairs are manufactured by the Spanish company Ezcaray International. Each pair of chairs is equipped with a connection to a translation system with multiple language channels.
The translation system and audio equipment include an analog audio mixer Soundcraft Spirit E6 with six mono and two stereo channels, a professional amplifier QSC ISA750, as well as components from Soundcraft Electronics.
The electronic auction is taking place on the platform izsoles.ta.gov.lv, which started on November 7 and will end on November 27.
Both individuals and legal entities can participate in the auction. To view the chairs, one can contact the manager of the Splendid Palace cinema — Ildze Eglīne.
