The program of events in Riga will begin at 15:00 with a traditional commemorative event at Sudrabkalniņš, featuring representatives of the Riga City Council and local government, the chairman of the board of the society of politically repressed individuals of the Kurzeme region of Riga, Ignats Bieirants, chaplain Guntis Kalme, the mixed choir of the Riga State Gymnasium "Agenškālns", the male ensemble of the Cultural Center "Imanta" of the Pārdaugava Culture Association "Vīlki", the orchestra of the National Armed Forces headquarters, and representatives of the Student Infantry Battalion of Zemessardze.

At 16:00, the annual event "Spirit of Freedom Fighters Through All Times" will take place at the Riga Brothers' Cemetery with a memorial ceremony honoring fallen soldiers, after which everyone is invited to join a torchlight procession from the Brothers' Cemetery to Freedom Square.

At 18:00, an event in honor of freedom fighters will be held at the Freedom Monument featuring the male ensemble "Vīlki".

After this, the procession will continue to the 11th November Embankment and conclude at 18:40 with the launch of a fire raft on the Daugava River near the Stone Bridge.

After 19:00, a joint singing event led by the ensemble "Vīlki" will take place on the banks of the Daugava by the wall of the Riga Castle.

In memory of those who fell in the struggle for Latvia's freedom, a concert program titled "Eternity of the Sun" will be held at 19:00 in Victory Park.

The post-folk group "Ilģi", the neo-folk group "Orchestra of New Jāņi", and the highlight of the concert will be the program of new works "Eternity of the Sun" — several singers will perform songs specially composed for this event based on folk lyrics.

At 19:00, the event "Lighting the Flame of the Candle" will take place at the festive square of the "Ziemeļblāzma" Culture Palace, where joint singing by the bonfires will be organized.

At the same time, a concert titled "Oaks Are Burning on Latvian Hills!" will be held at the "Small Guild" Culture and Folk Art Center.

In the evening, the event "Quiet Evening on the Banks of the Daugava" will take place at the "Ave Sol" concert hall, featuring the Emil Darzins Mixed Choir and the Riga Chamber Choir "Ave Sol" with a specially prepared program from 19:00.

At the same time, the "Riga" orchestra invites everyone to a concert titled "In the Light of Freedom" at the Lutheran Church in Torņakalns.

From today until November 18, a week of patriotism will take place at the "Riga Art Nouveau Center", which will include a lecture on "The Foundation of the Latvian State."
