Due to the holidays, the train schedule will change starting Friday

In connection with the Day of Proclamation of Latvia's Independence, starting Friday, November 7, there will be changes to the train schedule, reports the LETA agency citing JSC Pasažieru vilciens (PV).

As reported by PV, on Saturday, November 8, which is a transferred working day, all electric trains will operate according to the weekday schedule, while on November 17 and 18 they will follow the weekend schedule.

Diesel trains will start operating according to the modified schedule from Friday, November 7.

PV urges passengers to pay special attention to the train schedule for the routes to Gulbene, Madona, Daugavpils, and Valmiera.

The updated train schedule, taking into account all current changes, has been published on the PV website and in the mobile application.

JSC Pasažieru vilciens was established in 2001 by separating domestic passenger transport from the functions of the Latvian Railway. Previously, the company was 100% owned by the Latvian Railway, but in October 2008 it was transformed into a state enterprise.
