The Directorate of Road Transport of Latvia informed the portal bb.lv that due to repair work on the modernization of the contact network on the railway line in Tukums, passengers will be transported by buses.
Repairs are scheduled from October 17 to November 5 on the Kemeri-Asari section.
Starting from October 20, changes will be made to certain bus routes, and a new bus route Dubulti–Tukums will be opened, organized by the carrier Tukuma auto.
The temporary new regional route No. 7019 Dubulti–Tukums will operate on the following schedules: • At 16:40 from the Tukums bus station to Dubulti station — on weekdays (coordinated with the train at 17:39 from Dubulti to Riga); • At 17:10 from the Tukums bus station to Dubulti station — on weekdays (coordinated with the train at 18:08 from Dubulti to Riga); • At 17:45 from Dubulti station to Tukums — on weekdays (coordinated with the train at 17:00 from Riga to Dubulti); • At 18:15 from Dubulti station to Tukums — on weekdays (coordinated with the train at 17:30 from Riga to Dubulti). All specified trips are operated by the carrier Tukuma auto.
Additional changes:
Regional route No. 7041 Riga-Talsi-Dundaga:
The trip at 17:30 from Riga (on weekdays) will stop in Tukums at 18:39;
The trip at 6:05 from Talsi (on weekdays) will stop in Tukums at the same stop at 6:58.
Regional route No. 7990 Riga-Stende-Talsi:
The trip at 16:40 from Riga (on weekdays) will stop in Tukums at 17:51;
The trip at 6:30 from Talsi (on weekdays) will stop in Tukums at 7:44.
Starting from October 21, changes will also be made to the commercial route No. K7955, according to which:
The trip at 9:00 from the Riga bus station will stop in Tukums at 10:05;
The trip at 19:10 from the Riga bus station will stop in Tukums at 20:13;
The trip at 13:00 from the Ventspils bus station will stop in Tukums at 14:55;
The trip at 19:30 from Ventspils will stop in Tukums at 21:25.
