The happy groom funded the lavish celebration.
The daughter of a Moscow businessman and the son of a fishing record holder in Russia — Baza found out who organized a secret wedding featuring Urgant at the most expensive resort in Kazan.
The luxurious wedding on the banks of the Volga, costing over 25 million rubles (294,000 euros), was celebrated by 20-year-old Varvara Volkova from Moscow and 28-year-old Timur Ibragimov, a native of Tatarstan.
She is the daughter of a Moscow businessman whose company successfully operates in the fire safety sector. The bride's mother, on the other hand, is engaged in spiritual practices and conducts women's courses dedicated to "fulfilling desires through working with the Universe."
The groom's family turned out to be no less colorful. Timur's father is known as an avid fisherman and holds the record for catching the largest pikeperch in Russia. His business is also focused on fishing: he organizes fishing tours and rents out cabins on the Kama River.

However, it was not the parents, but the groom himself who turned out to be the main sponsor of the lavish celebration. Timur Ibragimov founded a school to prepare children for the Unified State Exam (USE). Last year, his company earned 1.8 billion rubles with a net profit of 358 million. Even before tying the knot, the young couple traveled to 33 countries. Timur proposed to Varvara at a resort in the French Alps, presenting her with a diamond ring worth over 2.5 million rubles.
Previously, 48-year-old television host Ivan Urgant held the wedding of the son of the founder of the "Imperiya-Farma" company, Omar Gurtzkai — Georgy and his fiancée Kessana. According to Baza, a previously scheduled concert was even canceled for the celebration, which took place at the Shostakovich Philharmonic in St. Petersburg, with representatives of the institution explaining the decision by stating that "these were people it was very difficult to refuse." According to the source, the rental cost for the Grand Hall in the philharmonic starts at 10 million rubles.
