Why should I, a person who is much younger, have the right to judge?
Nikolai Tsiskaridze stated that he still admires Alla Pugacheva. The artist noted that he faces hate due to his love for the singer. For example, he receives negative comments when he congratulates the singer on her birthday.
- For me, there are no former idols, - said Nikolai Tsiskaridze in an interview with Nadezhda Strelets. - For me, there are three main voices: (Maria) Callas, (Edith) Piaf, Pugacheva. This is from my childhood. Then many other great people were added, but this is my DNA. And why should I, a person who is much younger, have the right to judge someone for where they want to live? Or for what they said? What does this have to do with creativity?
The artist, by the way, stated that he was literally "destroyed" there with the help of "ordered" articles in the press. According to Tsiskaridze, colleagues were afraid to openly support him, although they would run up in the elevator and whisper: "We are with you."
Tsiskaridze spoke about the principles in the distribution of ballet roles using the example of Denis Rodkin, who studied in his class at the Bolshoi. "I always told him very honestly, he sometimes gets very offended at me, he says: 'You do not perceive me in this role,' I say 'Denis, I perceive you in any role because you are mine, you are forever mine and I love you, but the stage is something else.'"
The conversation with Bondarchuk also touched on personal life. The artist did not clearly state whether he wants to have children. In his opinion, the appearance of a child cannot be predicted, just as it is impossible to construct fate. "When people predict something, construct it, I do not accept this for myself. When you are surrounded by a huge amount of love from the younger generation, there is no shortage of it. I generally treat children and their inner world very attentively," added Tsiskaridze. Currently, he refers to his cats as his children, to whom he pays a lot of attention and even allows them to look down on him.
