"For her, these trips are a long-lasting dopamine boost."
The singer admitted that during their trip, they talk a lot about family history, childhood, children, grandchildren, art, science, and music.
Ukrainian singer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk delighted his fans with rare family photos. In his photo blog, the artist published a series of shots with his mother Svitlana, with whom he went on a traditional trip to Transcarpathia.
In the published photos, the mother and son stroll through the streets of Uzhhorod and Mukachevo, enjoy nature, and spend time over a cup of coffee. According to Vakarchuk, such trips have long become a special tradition for them.
"It’s already a traditional trip with my mom to Mukachevo. Hours of conversations about everything: childhood — both hers and mine, family stories, children, grandchildren, relatives. A little about science. A little about music. A little about paintings — mom is preparing for an exhibition. Traditionally, we had coffee in Uzhhorod," the artist shared.
Mukachevo, the hometown of the Vakarchuk family, held a special place in this journey. It was there that the performer recalled warm childhood memories associated with loved ones.
"For her, these trips are a long-lasting dopamine boost. For me, to be honest, it is too. My favorite place is the embankment. When I smell the Latorytsia River, something just flips inside me. I remember how I walked here in the park with my grandmother Nina. How I caught a catfish right by the embankment with my dad," the musician wrote touchingly.
The artist's fans showered him with warm comments, noting not only the sincerity of the post but also the beauty of his mother, who rarely appears in public.
