Kensington Palace has released a new photograph of Princess Charlotte on the occasion of her 11th birthday.
Charlotte is the middle child and the only daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales, and third in line to the British throne after her father, Prince William, and older brother, Prince George.
The previously unpublished photo was taken by photographer Matt Porteous during the Easter holidays of Prince William and Princess Catherine's family in Cornwall.
In the photo, Charlotte stands in a blooming field, smiling at the camera, wearing a black and red striped sweater and blue jeans.
Kensington Palace accompanied the photograph with the words: "Happy 11th birthday to Charlotte!" — adding a cake emoji.
Princess Charlotte — officially Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Wales — was born on May 2, 2015, at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, west London.
15 Years Since the Wedding
On Wednesday, Prince William and Princess Catherine also delighted fans with a new family photograph, marking their 15th wedding anniversary.
In the picture, William and Catherine are lying on the grass and smiling with their children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — as well as their two dogs, Orla and Otto, during the Easter break.
