After a recent event, Prince Harry was directly asked in an interview for ITV News whether he feels "liberated from the shackles" now that his status as a member of the royal family has changed. This question pertained to his personal feelings following significant changes in his life.
Prince Harry expressed his firm stance on this matter. He stated, "From my perspective, we should feel entitled to speak the truth to those in power. It’s very simple. I would be worried if we lived in a world where a person in my position or anyone else anywhere could not speak about what we see and the realities we face."
Despite the fact that the Duke of Sussex now permanently resides in America and his contacts with relatives have become significantly less frequent, he made an important admission. In the same interview, Harry emphasized, "I will always be part of the royal family and will do what I was born to do. And I like it."
