Insomnia, fatigue, and constant ringing in the ears – these unexplained symptoms are causing widespread concern among residents of different countries. Scientists have found a possible explanation, linking them to abnormal fluctuations in the natural electromagnetic field of the Earth.
For the past nine days, residents from various corners of our planet have been reporting a sharp decline in well-being and the emergence of quite unusual symptoms. Among them are sudden sleep problems, debilitating fatigue, constant ringing in the ears, and a feeling of 'fog' in the head, as if thoughts have become sticky and sluggish. These are not isolated cases, but a real wave of ailments that is causing concern.
What is the Schumann Resonance and Its Connection to Us?
Scientists have not remained on the sidelines and have proposed an explanation for this phenomenon – abnormal spikes in the so-called Schumann resonance. This is a natural electromagnetic vibration of our Earth, a kind of 'heartbeat' of the planet. It is generated by countless lightning strikes that resonate in the space between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere, at altitudes ranging from 48 to 965 kilometers. Usually, the fundamental frequency of the Earth is 7.83 Hz – and this remarkably coincides with the theta waves of the human brain, which are responsible for deep relaxation and sound sleep. It is not surprising that changes in this rhythm can affect our well-being.
The Sun and Earth: The Culprits of the Anomaly?
However, data from space weather monitoring by MeteoAgent showed a disturbing picture: over the past week, the Schumann resonance levels have been consistently high and potentially dangerous. The main culprits of this were powerful solar flares of classes M and X, which were recorded from April 3 to April 9. An especially strong flare occurred on April 9 at 4:43 AM Kyiv time, causing significant disturbances in the ionosphere. This led to the ejection of charged particles into the atmosphere, which, in turn, significantly increased the intensity of the Earth's natural background 'hum.' The geomagnetic activity index (K-index) jumped to 3.3 on April 9, and on April 10, it even exceeded 5.0, corresponding to the level of a full-fledged geomagnetic storm.
People's Sensations: 'Gravity Has Become Denser'
Although clinical evidence of the direct influence of Schumann resonance on human health is still lacking, the statistics of complaints speak for themselves. People around the world describe very similar and sometimes surreal sensations. "It feels like gravity has become denser, and there is a constant high-frequency ringing in my ears," is how those who have experienced the effects of these planetary vibrations describe their feelings. This emphasizes how closely we are connected to the rhythms of our planet, even if we are not always aware of it.
