While blogger Lerchek fights a serious illness, her ex-husband received a seven-year sentence in a penal colony.
Fresh photos of the well-known blogger Valeria Chekalina, better known as Lerchek, who is bravely battling cancer, have appeared on social media. She has been diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer. These images, showing her during chemotherapy, were posted by her close friend Gosha Kamaev on his Instagram. He shared his heartfelt feelings: "Today is a tough day. Lera felt really bad from chemotherapy. Despite everything, Lera is trying to organize her work processes and is thinking about how to solve financial difficulties. We are trying to convince her to cancel all plans."
Not long ago, Lerchek made the decision to shave her hair, which had started to fall out due to the aggressive chemotherapy treatment.
Diagnosis and Fight for Life
The terrible diagnosis of 33-year-old Valeria became known in early March 2026. After the birth of her fourth child, she ended up in intensive care, where doctors discovered stage four stomach cancer with extensive metastases. She is currently undergoing treatment at a state oncology center.
