World tennis star Aryna Sabalenka did not ignore the criticism from blogger Aris Yeager regarding her jewelry preferences, sparking heated discussions among fans.
Recently, the world’s number one tennis player, the vibrant Aryna Sabalenka, found herself at the center of a heated discussion with blogger-comedian Aris Yeager. The reason was his remark about her preference for an abundance of jewelry. A video quickly spread on social media, where Yeager, positioning himself as a representative of 'old money', told Sabalenka that wearing such a quantity of diamonds is simply bad taste. He even offered her his lessons in good taste.
"You wear so many diamonds — it looks like you’re constantly trying to show off. You’re not that kind of person. But you are a 'new money' person, and that’s okay. I just want to teach you, as someone who is 'old money'. And I want you to know: it’s disgusting to walk around with that many diamonds," Aris stated unequivocally.
Without missing a beat, Aryna gave a sharp response, retorting: "I’m a Slavic girl, we love this kind of thing." The blogger did not back down, continuing his critical line, but then the tennis player’s friend intervened, asking Aris a pointed question: "Which Slavic girl offended you?" To which the comedian hastily assured that his complaints were not personal, but rather about 'Slavs' in general, who, in his opinion, "wear too much and show off too much."

About Aryna's Sports Achievements
Aryna Sabalenka rightfully holds the title of the world’s number one. Her impressive track record includes four Grand Slam tournament victories. Additionally, she made history as the first Belarusian tennis player to top the world rankings.
Personal Life and Engagement
In March of this year, 27-year-old Aryna experienced a truly joyful event: she announced her engagement to 36-year-old Brazilian businessman Georgios Frangulis. Her engagement ring, adorned with an oval diamond weighing over 12 carats and emerald insets (emeralds are the tennis player’s favorite stone), is valued by jewelers at nearly one million dollars. The athlete openly shared that it was Frangulis who became her support and helped her cope with the difficult period following the tragic death of her former boyfriend, hockey player Konstantin Koltsov, who left his wife and three children for a relationship with Sabalenka.
