Former partners Yulia Baranova and Andrey Arshavin came together for their daughter's 18th birthday but maintained their distance: the footballer preferred not to be photographed next to his ex-wife.
A significant event – the 18th birthday of their daughter Yana – once again brought Yulia Baranova and her former partner, the famous footballer Andrey Arshavin, together. The family celebration took place at a restaurant, where the 44-year-old athlete arrived to personally congratulate the birthday girl. A touching photo of Arshavin with his daughter Yana became one of the highlights of the evening; however, the footballer categorically refused to pose for a joint shot with Yulia, the mother of his children.

The Story of Their Relationship
Their acquaintance took place in 2003 in the Northern capital. At that time, Yulia was still a student, and Andrey was a promising footballer for Zenit, whose star was just beginning to rise. The years spent together coincided with the peak of his sports career: Arshavin won the Russian championship, became the holder of the UEFA Super Cup, and moved to the legendary London Arsenal. However, in 2012, when Yulia was expecting their third child, the idyll collapsed. Their breakup became a true media explosion in Russia, provoked by Arshavin's romance with journalist Alisa Kazmina. He later married her, but this union also fell apart, and Kazmina subsequently faced serious health problems. The ensuing years of legal battles over alimony became another chapter in their complicated story.

Alimony Battles
Initially, the court proceedings took place in London, where Yulia managed to secure significant payments – about 50% of the athlete's income. However, in the following years, Arshavin repeatedly went to court demanding a reduction in alimony, citing the end of his football career and the appearance of new children in other relationships. It is known that Andrey has a total of six children, including one "unofficial". Just recently, in January 2026, Themis once again sided with Arshavin, reducing payments for the children from Baranova. The reason was the birth of a child by the footballer with his current partner, Anna Petrushina, which was considered as "new family circumstances."
