The internet is buzzing with speculation: has Viktor Pelevin taken on a novel about the infamous billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein? The reason for such heated discussions was a recent post in the popular Telegram channel "Caution, News."
The journalists of this channel shared an intriguing story: they received an anonymous letter marked "Contains secret files." Their surprise was immense when they found a complete literary work inside, a significant part of which detailed the investigation into Epstein's case. A number of specific signs led the editorial team to a bold thought: this text could very well belong to Pelevin and be his previously unpublished novel. "Particular attention was drawn to the writing style and details: the characteristic narrative manner, recognizable rhythm of the text, and the name of the main character. All of this seemed too familiar to the editorial team," the channel's journalists commented on their findings, attaching curious excerpts from the manuscript to the post.
However, despite the excitement of these speculations, there is currently no concrete evidence that the manuscript indeed came from Pelevin's pen. The "Caution, News" team continues a meticulous verification of the authenticity of the received text and is actively investigating all circumstances of its mysterious appearance.

By the way, in 2021, the entire literary world held its breath discussing an incredible meeting in one of Moscow's basements, where a "man resembling Pelevin" allegedly interacted with his devoted fans. Later, however, it turned out that it was none other than the skillfully disguised actor Yura Borisov. This entire event turned out to be just part of a large-scale performance by Esquire magazine, aimed at drawing attention to the problem of fake news. Borisov played the writer for the magazine's cover and even held a staged autograph session as part of the promotion of the novel Transhumanism Inc.
The Background of the Epstein Case
The scandal surrounding financier Jeffrey Epstein has become, without exaggeration, one of the loudest and most shocking events in the U.S. in recent years. The billionaire was accused of creating a monstrous system of sexual exploitation and trafficking of underage girls. This network operated in his luxurious residences in New York and on his private island.
