U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegset announced the "largest volume of strikes" against Iran since the beginning of the conflict. He stated this during a briefing at the White House.
According to him, on Monday, April 6, the U.S. military will carry out the largest strike since the start of the operation, and on Tuesday, their number will be even greater. He clarified that he received the corresponding order from U.S. President Donald Trump.
Earlier, Trump stated that Iran could be completely destroyed in one night, adding that this could happen as soon as tomorrow. He set a deadline for Tehran regarding the Strait of Hormuz, which expires on Tuesday, April 7, at 8:00 PM Eastern Time (April 8, 4:00 AM in Riga).
