Everywhere there are images of Russian beauties, hopelessly in love and ruined for it.
Renata Litvinova has been living in Paris for four years. She has stopped acting in films but keeps an eye on loud global premieres. The star of the film "Goddess: How I Fell in Love" mentioned that she was disappointed by two new series.
"Horribly stupid series 'Young Sherlock' and 'American Love Story'. One is empty and shallow. It’s unclear why it was filmed on video. It could have been made from a montage of photographs," Renata noted in her blog.
She admitted that she couldn't even finish the first episode. "Neither to the mind nor to the heart," the celebrity exclaimed.
The second project disappointed her in terms of the script. "It's impossible to listen to the dialogues. It's just awkward, who writes such vulgar nonsense. I do not recommend it," said the Honored Artist of Russia.
After that, she stated that Soviet films are much better. "I refreshed my memory with old series: 'Quiet Don', 'Gloomy River', 'Shadows Disappear at Noon'. Everywhere there are images of Russian beauties, hopelessly in love and ruined for it," Litvinova wrote.
Earlier, the artist mentioned that in exile, she reads books by Russian classics. Among her favorites are the works of Chekhov and Bulgakov. She noted that good reading in difficult times provides her with refuge and comfort, from which she draws inspiration and finds new ideas. "Reading them is never enough," the blonde stated.
She considers the greatest writer of our century to be J.K. Rowling and loves Agatha Christie very much. "I keep rewatching Hercule Poirot. I named my cat after Agatha Christie's character, the great detective, a shy, amazing oddball," the stage star pointed out.
