Kim Kardashian has taken a strong stance regarding her mother Kris Jenner's relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The reality star publicly stated that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry forced the family to delete joint photos from Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party.
According to an insider close to the Kardashian clan, Kim believes that the Sussexes bring "drama and awkwardness" and does not want that kind of energy around the family brand. She is urging Kris Jenner to cut ties with Meghan.
"From her perspective, Meghan and Harry bring drama and awkwardness everywhere, so she sees no reason to keep the door open," the source noted. Meanwhile, Kris Jenner, according to the insider, still maintains a friendly attitude towards Meghan, but Kim firmly holds her position.
Earlier, Kim stated on her sister Khloé Kardashian's podcast that the family received permission to publish photos of the Sussexes from Kris's anniversary, but later the Duke and Duchess asked to remove the pictures from social media.
