Hilaria Baldwin spoke about the secret to her long-lasting and successful marriage with Alec Baldwin. She gave an interview to the Daily Mail at the Spotlight magazine party at One Art Space.

"We just allow each other to be ourselves, and I think that’s one of the reasons our relationship has lasted so long, because we are complete opposites and very different," said the yoga instructor.

42-year-old Hilaria also noted that regular date nights help maintain interest in their relationship.

"We spend a lot of time on date nights. Recently, we’ve been traveling a lot for work, but we try to have date nights often," she told the publication.

According to the celebrity, their dates with the 68-year-old actor "usually involve dinner."

"He loves a good dinner: we either go out somewhere, or I cook, and usually we chat and tell each other about our seven children and projects," she shared.

Touching on the widely discussed age difference, Hilaria joked about the established dynamic.

"I think people expect that Alec wanted someone he could command, but we are equals," the woman admitted.

Their marriage, however, has not been without stress.

"There has been a lot of chaos in our lives, a lot of beautiful things, and there have been terrible things, but we have managed to find a way out," said Alec Baldwin's wife.

Let us remind you that the couple got married in 2012. Since then, they have had seven children: three daughters and four sons aged 3 to 12 years.

The actor also has a 30-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his marriage to actress Kim Basinger. The couple divorced in 2002 after 9 years of marriage.
