Musk Made an Unexpected Statement About Jesus: The Internet 'Exploded' with Theories

After the statement supporting the teachings of Jesus, users on X began actively discussing Musk's changing views and possible motives behind his words.

As reported by the Daily Mail, last week Musk responded to a post on X with the question of who "will preach Elon Musk," with a short phrase: "I agree with the teachings of Jesus." This comment instantly sparked discussions: some users saw it as a sign of the entrepreneur's growing openness to faith, while others began to speculate about possible hidden motives.

Some commentators even suggested that the statement might be a preparation for a "loud announcement" or an attempt to distract attention from a potential scandal. Others called such theories unfounded, emphasizing that a positive attitude towards Christian values does not necessarily imply hidden intentions.

Musk and Religion - Recent Statements

This is not the first time Musk has spoken about religion. In 2022, he wrote that Jesus taught love, kindness, and forgiveness, and admitted that he had previously underestimated the depth of these principles. At the same time, the entrepreneur emphasized that he is not a religious person, although he generally agrees with the moral principles of Christianity.

In a 2013 interview with actor Rainn Wilson, Musk noted that he doubts the existence of a superconsciousness that evaluates human actions. However, in later appearances, particularly in a conversation with Jordan Peterson in 2024, he spoke about respect for the teachings of Jesus and Christian moral principles.

The entrepreneur also stated that he is open to the idea of God as an explanation for the origin of the universe, but approaches this question from a standpoint of evidence and rational analysis.

Musk's mother, Maye Musk, after his recent comment, reminded about the family's religious upbringing, noting that her children were baptized in a Methodist church.
