Today the final of the Latvian public media song contest "Supernova" will take place, where it will be determined who will represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest, the LETA agency was informed by the media.
Five entries from the first and second semifinals will compete for victory.
From the first semifinal, the finalists are "Kautkaili" with the song "Te un tagad", "De Mantra" with the song "Let Them", Emilija with the song "All We Ever Had", Tikasha Sakama with the song "#010126 CODA", and "Elpo" with the song "Blakus".
From the second semifinal, the finalists of "Supernova" are Atvara with the song "Ēnā", Legzdina with the song "Ribbon", Robert Ox with the song "Ravin' At The Taj Mahal", Krisy with the song "Take It", and Miks Galvanovskis with the song "Cruel Angel".
The songs and performers for participation in the semifinals of the "Supernova" contest were determined by a jury consisting of representatives from the Latvian music industry, event sector, and television, as well as foreign professionals.
The winner of the final will have the opportunity to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest in May in the capital of Austria, Vienna.
It was previously reported that the jury selected 24 participants from 124 applications for the semifinals of "Supernova".
