David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son — 26-year-old Brooklyn — has adjusted his tattoo dedicated to his father. This move coincided with a prolonged conflict within the family and once again attracted the attention of British tabloids and social media users.
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz were recently spotted near a supermarket. Photos of the couple were published by The Sun. The pictures show that the tattoo on Beckham Jr.'s shoulder with the inscription dad, previously incorporated into an anchor image, has been partially covered by three small designs. The phrase below — "Love you, Bust," where Bust is Brooklyn's childhood nickname, has also become less noticeable. The tabloid suggests that the tattoo is gradually being removed with a laser and calls this step another blow to his parents.
Previously, changes to another tattoo of Brooklyn's — dedicated to his mother Victoria Beckham — were already discussed online. Media and social media users interpret this as an attempt to distance himself from the family and a symbolic transition to the so-called "Peltz clan." Brooklyn himself has previously admitted that a significant portion of his more than 100 tattoos are related to Nicola. Among them are an image of her eyes on his neck, a love letter on his back, his wife's surname on his chest, and a large portrait of his wife, which, according to media reports, he got at the beginning of the year.
Tensions in the family escalated in late January when Brooklyn posted a series of stories on social media. In them, he accused his parents of years of control, pressure, and attempts to undermine his marriage. These statements continued a long-standing conflict between Brooklyn, Nicola, and David and Victoria Beckham. The public reaction was mixed: some users supported Brooklyn, while others deemed his stance ungrateful and suggested influence from his wife.
No official comments from the Beckham family regarding the situation have followed. According to sources close to the family, Victoria Beckham is struggling with what is happening, while the other children of David and Victoria, along with their partners, have rallied around their parents. Brooklyn, meanwhile, continues to share glimpses of life with Nicola in the U.S. and is rumored to be considering the possibility of releasing a memoir.
